定冠詞

定冠詞常用「the」，指特定的人或物。主要對名詞發揮限定作用，且通常位於名詞或名詞詞組之前或之後。特定名詞出現時，前面須加 the（也可用 this ／ that ／ these ／ those）。如：The boy over there is my cousin. （那邊的那個男孩是我堂弟。）名詞第一個音為母音時，念 [Qi]。如：The elephants in the zoo are popular with kids.（動物園裡的大象很受小孩們歡迎。）
