反身代名詞

人稱代名詞＋「self 或 selves」，中文做「某人自己」。用法： 1、強調主詞本身（親自），也常搭配介系詞 by 表「獨自」，如： David himself finished the project. He didn’t ask anyone to do it for him.（David 本人完成了這個企畫案。他並沒有要求任何人替他做。） 2、受詞與主詞為同一人，如： Helen loves looking at herself in the mirror. （Helen 喜愛看著鏡子裡的自己。）寫法： 1. 我 I → myself。 2. 我們 we → ourselves。 3. 你 you → yourself (單數)。 4. 你 you → yourselves (複數)。 5. 他 he → himself。 6. 她 she → herself。 7. 它 it → itself。 8. 他們 they → themselves。其他常見的反身代名詞搭配用法，如： enjoy oneself 玩得開心（= have fun）；make oneself at home 不要客氣、自己來；help oneself to (the food) 自行取用（食物）。下圖為：反身代名詞。
